TEETH WHITENING
How does it work?
The molecules in the whitening gel penetrate the tooth enamel and release
oxygen, which, in turn, “breaks down” the pigment molecules.
In-Office Teeth Whitening
This procedure involves activating the whitening gel with a blue LED light. The desired effect can often be achieved in a single session.
Custom Teeth Whitening Trays
The patient, under the supervision of the dentist, receives a custom tray and whitening gel to use daily at home. The treatment can last between 15 and 30 days.
LAMINATES AND DENTAL VENEERS
Laminates are extremely thin. They are recommended for teeth that have good coloration but have some structural or shape defect. As they are thin and translucent, laminates transmit the natural color of the tooth, resulting in a good aesthetic result. Laminates are not recommended for patients who bite their nails or, for example, chew on the tip of a pen. Maintenance should be performed every 6 months and it is recommended to use an acrylic night guard to protect the laminates. Porcelain veneers, on the other hand, are ideal for changing the color and shape of teeth. Veneers can have various shades and translucency and can radically change a patient’s smile.
